Questions about the Portable Graphics Dock
1. What are the advantages of this all-in-one chassis compared to the open graphics card slot?
Answer: We can easily fix the graphics card to avoid short circuit caused by tilting the graphics card during use and damage to the graphics card.
2. Why is the power supply of the M2 mini graphics dock only 180W, is it enough?
Answer: The recommended power wattage of the graphics card is the overall power consumption of the PC desktop. The graphics card is used alone in the graphics card dock, and the actual power consumption is relatively small. We designed it with reference to the official power consumption parameters of the graphics card. Currently, 180W has met most of the needs of small ITX graphics cards.
For example: The power consumption of RTX3060 12G is 175W, which is completely satisfied for us.
3. Can Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 computers be used? Answer: All computers support Thunderbolt 4/3 and USB4
4. Does it support laptop PD charging? Answer: No.5. Why not use a 230W adapter, so that more compatible graphics cards can be added, and the charging function can also be added.
Answer: What we are after is portability. The size of the 230W power supply is like a brick, which is larger than the graphics card dock, which loses the meaning of the mini graphics card dock.
6. Can I replace the adapter with a smaller size as needed? Answer: Yes, our graphics dock is powered by DC12V and has a standard 5525 interface. Adapters above 12V1A can be used.
7. Is Apple computer supported?
Answer: Yes, but only for the Windows version of bootcamp. We can boot without UEFI and install the driver directly. If you need to use it in the MACOS system, you need to contact customer service to confirm the version of the graphics card and computer.
8. What are the advantages of your products over others?
Answer: We started to get involved in Thunderbolt products in 2016, independently researched and developed, and the software program has been continuously iteratively optimized.
